Wisdom of Crowds

I heard this the other day in relation to BLOGS. It is a reference to James Surowiecki's book, The Wisdom of Crowds. His publisher (Random House) wrote: " In this endlessly fascinating book, New Yorker columnist James Surowiecki explores a deceptively simple idea that has profound implications: large groups of people are smarter than an elite few, no matter how brilliant-better at solving problems, fostering innovation, coming to wise decisions, even predicting the future."

The Choices and Voices group might not be a large group, ultimately, but certainly - working together - collaborating - we can achieve
similar ends. The NOLS library system owns 2 copies of this book. -tp.
